We are a secular democracy. If you don't like the freedom of religion, you are welcome to move somewhere else.

In America, you can be Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or anything else. It's written into our Constitution. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Get lost with this garbage.

I started as an assistant professor in 1976. Most of my senior colleagues had houses with one income. My generation -- took two for the same kind of place, same kind of neighborhood.

It depends a lot on where you lived. There are plenty of examples of course, but systematic data suggest that by the 1970s one of the reasons so many married women went into the workforce (oh, so many reasons) was the need for 2 incomes. By 1980 half of women w babies were in the work force.

Not true for those of us who were Baby Boomers. Nope.

These days, unfortunately, I can imagine a MAGAt saying almost anything that wouldn’t have been said in public before.

I had a short term experience once a very very long time ago. Luckily, we used appropriate birth and disease control.

Iran’s people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.

Hey everyone. Stop thinking in binaries. Just because they look like men....

Funny that That Guy and all his little buddies weren't saying this when people wanted to elect him because "gas prices are too high."

Trump murdered 175 schoolchildren in Iran to cover up for the potentially hundreds of schoolchildren he abused in America.

He denies doing both while all the evidence says he did.

MAGAs are choosing to believe a known rapist and fraudster over hundreds of women and children. This is who they are.

There are a lot of posts out there with the close-up visual of Markwayne Mullin on January 6, but this is a better perspective.

He’s not protecting others; he’s protecting himself and hiding. You can see plenty of people at the entry door, ready to take on the insurrectionists, but not Markwayne.

The Bygone Era of Supreme Court Support for Voting Rights Sixty years after upholding the Voting Rights Act, the Court has dismantled most of it.

Sixty years ago, the Supreme Court upheld the Voting Rights Act to protect Americans of all races, ethnicities, and language backgrounds from discriminatory election rules. Even if today’s justices refuse to do the same, we must continue the fight to protect the vote.

Now we'll just bomb the sht out of whoever we want whenever we want and watch them drown or burn. It'll be a great show! Very manly! Not girly!

Over 140 million Americans don't have passports, and over 69 million Americans don't have a birth certificate that matches their current name. Trump wants to stop you from voting unless you bring one in person to register.

The SAVE Act isn't about saving anythingβ€”it's about silencing voters.

I urged depts that had names like: this subject from that date to that date to figure out what that period makes sense and name the theme or problem or something students who haven’t had the course yet would understand. Why keep it a secret?
