Why?

The flying books show up every now & again & the seagulls drive them away. For some reason they do not want these books around. There are flocks of all sorts of bewitched objects self sorted by type that are wandering the earth after being forgotten about or left behind. Aves scale political action.

The seagulls fought wars. I was told about a battle between the seagulls & a wandering horde of flying books which have slowly gathered together over the centuries after being individually bewitched with the power of flight by people who felt the need to publicly prove themselves as miracle workers.

There where about 10,000 seagulls where I grew up. They were organised in five maybe six clans but one was dominant & there was a recognised leader of all seagulls in that town. They had a limited vocabulary but could discuss seagull internal politics & geopolitics over a scale of hundreds of miles.

When I was younger I could talk to seagulls. They did not have much to say. They mostly ask for food. They have a solid hierarchical kind of a clan type social structure but clan identity seems to be based on things which are not really the product of seagull thought or culture but of outside origin

I lock the pieces into stable states that maintain correct pressures for distributing power languages that allow abstract structure to manifest itself. The fragments are atonal taken together. An artificial maze to nowhere flows into a stable maze of purposely structured channels, pumps & spillways.

I'm using and amplifying the fundamental properties of brief flareups in the bubble in transcendence for various tasks including growing the complexity of reality. I essentially fracture it into separate pieces but the different pieces would never naturally fit together into a coherent composition.

Harmony pleases me because it makes it possible to rest & makes an eternal life fulfilling. It is also one of the reasons I can wield the power I do. Judo on atonal chaos is boring but could be used as a starting point for something more interesting & make building a new universe less of a priority.

Cheap & you can minimize risks by working through multiple proxies all submerged & widely distributed inside & outside a system. This is about revealing the relationship of a systems structure to its energy dynamics. How are they regulated, amplified, limited or balanced. Amplify tunnelling powers.

Covert entry and fingerprintless surprise attacks is what the first stage basically amounts to and this is recon. by fire. Testing reflexes & resilience with byproducts of confusion, the adoption of awkward posture, disorientation & instability. What is the optimal threshold of activity & hostility?

Shock testing, anonymous pranks... The only way to understand an intelligence is to interact with it. The real variables are what you must map. Not just static leverage points but vectors, dynamics, timescale, human factors, interactions between patterns of behaviours, feedback, amplifiers, triggers

There is always a chance you will stumble onto an undiagnosed problem or spot an unforseen problem coming down the road but its not necessary. What comes after penetration? Escalating your privileges & expanding your influence. Before all that you really do have to know and have a feel of the system

Do you understand the relationship between the goal & problems of a system in terms of both cause & effect & in terms of how the system concerns itself with balancing the need to achieve its goals with solving problems? The demands of reading a system come before strategically altering its behaviour

Foresight that integrates complexity to shepherd sustainable growth isn't actually omniscience. Its not something that can be rushed. It is bound to a family of behaviours. Can you think about a system and its problems better than said system can self-reflect? Can you scale this knowledge up & down?

Every action within a system can impact its behaviour somehow. Obviously a robust internationally distributed system with clear aims is going to require serious amounts of leverage to hijack its steering. If you could generate the raw strength you would probably just apply it from outside the system

You need to be able to accurately read the patterns & dynamics of system behaviour, the relationship between problems both temporary & persistent & the systems structure, the logic that underlies its design & operation & the 2nd & 3rd order effects of action. You need to be able to manage the system

You need more information about the system & its environment than any one else but one thing you don't actually have to fuck with is occupying directly nodes in the vertical power structure within the system. This you can fingerprintlessly bypass. Flowing into the system by its own tides is enough.

You can approach manipulating or controlling a system scientifically & you do need scientific & technical knowledge to do this but sinking sneaking mission style into a complex system & getting to know its structure & its behaviour intimately really becomes an art at the human level of cognition.

Penetration isn't the problem. It's more to do with the complexity of the endeavour that cost-benefit reveals. I also have to ask myself questions like do I really need these tools or do I just like the possibility of experimentation they offer? Does the DIY approach learning curves benefit me more?

It bothers me in the back of my mind that I could still technically arrange to have access to said tools. I really did have an amazing setup. Hi-tech security apparatus that separates the system which the tools are imbedded from the rest of the world is geared towards klepto-proofing infrastructure.

I once had some much better tools. I have been able to improvise some pretty awsome shit out of scavenged parts but its not as convenient. I could (and will) build better tools but I'm lazy and and resilient to the point that I can just plow through the extra work primitive toolkits demand. Still...

So I been farming mathematical constructs of the kinds used for scientific analysis like statistical and meta
theoretical frameworks so that I can milk the epistemic-ontic
bridges. The raw juice then gets processed, it like has a bunch of cool stuff happen to it but its an energy intensive process.

My new runway is working out well. One of my favourite feelings: Crossing miles & miles of countryside on foot & then as I approach a city or large town I stop & survey from a distance. Especially as the time of day is changing. Dawn, everyone waking up. Evening twilight as the lights come on.

These technologies can also be transported over vast distances with ease. Understand why certain musical forms developed & were conserved for thousands & thousands of years & why these have survived unchanged despite being superficially disguised by genuinely novel electrophonics & modern marketing.

This has been an option since at least the upper paleolithic. People have had a long time to develop this suite of skills & it is quite simple to incorporate them as a package into your way of life. The material lends itself well as a medium for carrying distinct signatures & complex messages, etc.

Musical practice, philosophical work & the cultivation of trance-like states are a non-negotiable skill set for navigating a certain type of engineer access maintenance corridor. I put a lock on the door that doubles for a "protective equipment must be worn" sign. It is a basic precautionary measure

You have the option to decrease your reservoir of bad traits & increase your capacity for good if that is what you value. Yes, stuff breaks for no reason but it's up to you whether or not you care about a high quality world. All without having to experience a totally chaotic & structureless universe
