It might also be nice if, along with recognizing the US troops who are apt to die, they showed any recognition yet alone compassion for the civilians there who already have.
and by "...and others" she means the innocent civilians - already victims of a violent regime - who have already died and will continue to die while "our" leaders talk about it like the possibility of US casualties is the great threat here.

Interesting... as someone who was part of the movement against NAFTA and GATT from the left (because the agreements were very much anti-labor, environment, etc., and prioritized US interests over others) it's so interesting to see the right now working to dismantling it.

Pretty sure you didn't just equate murdering two people in the streets with 'disturbing your brunch.' Because that would qualify as Hillary-level vile.
They told us there were 3k here. If 1000 have already left and 'several hundred more' will be leaving, that leaves more than a thousand, hardly a 'small' force yet alone a return to the 150 they claimed was 'normal' here.
So - by his own logic, the key to ending what he sees as our immigration 'problem' is ending white supremacy.

'course - if you discourage the folks who want to go to elite and/or supposedly 'left leaning' colleges from enlisting, you're left with a MAGA military which I guess is their intent... Sorry - took me a couple of beats to get there.
I'll be interested to see what impact this pattern has on enlistment rates given how many young folks go into the military at least in part as a path to college.
