Christians have been both welcoming and challenging to my book "Cross Purposes: Christianity's Broken Bargain with Democracy"...this interview with Micah Redding is a case in point. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMG0...

Trying to figure out how to express everything, how to capture the vision we've been working on for a while now.
That's good. When we meet the grabby aliens, 𝘢𝘴 grabby aliens, it will be a profound and joyous union of civilizations who share our deepest values.
This is what Robin Hanson describes as "expanding, lasting life", and the civilization that possesses it will (in his terminology) be a civilization of "grabby aliens".
Such a civilization will be capable of immortality, transfiguration, resurrection.
Such a civilization will be capable of infinitely-expanding life.
Everything in Christianity boils down to the creation of an infinitely-expanding ecological civilization.
A civilization that can do that is legitimately called the kingdom of the heavens.

What is the meaning of the Trinity?
God is a social network.
This is the message of Jesus:
Ethical relationships unlock science, technology, and the universe.
Relationships open the door to everything else.
Get your relationships right, and you can unleash progress in the material world.
Augustine famously used the Trinity to analyze the interior of the human mind.
But you can arrive at a Christian take on mind by considering your mind as a social order of its own.
The open society of mind.
Buddhism is about the mind.
Stoicism is about effectiveness.
Christianity is about relationships and the social order.
Playing God is the human vocation

Maybe resurrection can just be brute-force simulating every possible human, identifying the ones that match the cryptographic signatures, and recreating them in a future context.
Maybe the human race is a giant blockchain, most info stored off-chain, but every life cryptographically connected to the next.
If it’s not true, we’ll make it true
