Software is not a commodity, although some are closer or farther.
To see why, imagine me forcing you to swap out your email client, or your IDE, or your spreadsheet or docs app, and tell me you won't care at all.
UX isn't fungible, even if you argue "features" are.
There is always SnapX, which was made to bring ShareX's power to every major platform. i.e., Linux, FreeBSD, macOS, and Windows.

This is a huge PR to ImageSharp Drawing.
It adds the new polygon stroker and clipper that @stefannikolei.bsky.social and I built and a new high perf CPU rasterizer.
I've also abstracted out drawing backends so people can bring their own GPU rasterizers!

Hey, I'm working on a cross-platform screenshot tool. I want to add an image editor to my app. Do you think ImageSharp would be the right tool for the job, or should I use something more GPU-accelerated like wgpu?

I just released the first usable pre-release of SnapX (for basic use cases) which is a cross platform hard fork of the infamous ShareX program. Testers are needed, give it a try!
