Crazy to think that at one time Johnny Depp and even Brad Pitt were considered for this role. Christian Bale was the perfect choice.

It's wild to think that #1, it's that old. I was in high school when it came out. And that #2 that it was in development for soooo long.There were several actors and directors attached to it. But it worked out perfectly. Christian Bale was great, and Mary Harron turned out to be the right director.

She's a great actress, and stunningly beautiful. Can't wait to check this one out. It looks interesting for sure.

Mankind are the real monsters.

It's a very good movie, though not in the same league as Suspiria. Then again, few films are. Much better than the 3rd and last film in the Mother of Tears trilogy though. That one was awful.

Thanks Bri. I was about 15 when it came out, and it was such a revolutionary film. There was nothing like it. It seems like yesterday. Now I'm about to turn 41 in May. It's crazy how fast time flies.

It was actually one of the last movies to ever be processed in Technicolor. At the time Rome had the only remaining machine. Argento wanted a Snow White sort of look for the movie, which he definitely achieved.

Rest in paradise sweet Olivia. Her outer beauty was only matched by her inner beauty. She was a lover and advocate for animals and was deeply spiritual. She'll always be our favorite final girl. The Booze Bros send our sincerest condolences to her family. She'll be missed.

I've seen this one a couple of times. Has a bit of a Carpenter vibe to it. FWIW, the buildup was better than the climax I thought. But still a very good movie. Especially for being so low budget.

Not really. F that guy, and those like him.They've condemned millions to suffering and death by being greedy POS.But the problem with the healthcare system is systemic. Killing one person won't change that unfortunately. Now they'll just have more armed guards everywhere for the intimidation factor.

When you have all the money, you can control the narrative.
