Ancient Greece, Feudal Japanese Samurai, 1960’s Spy capers, you can convert to any genre with a few skill changes.
The biggest issue to overcome is healing from damage. Standard Pendragon leaves you out for weeks/months. More technologically based games can overcome the issue with modern alternatives, of course. The trait system works really well in all genres.
