Everytime I listen to Agathocles I wonder why I bother listening to anything else.
For real, 92-97 Agathocles is close to perfection when it comes to #grindcore.
This legit is one of the most amazing things I've ever heard

Before I settle into the Packers game, here's the #dailygrind with one of my new favorites, who I met here on bsky. #pulsatingcerebralslime #grindcore

Thanks a bunch ! Especially for the album choice, that's one of my favorite things I ever recorded

For the #dailygrind I wanted to give a shout out to these guys. They're fuckin fantastic and they're right here on sky. Check em out!

That's an awesome idea. Been Caught Buttering is one of their best.
Thanks a lot !
Too many people underestimate how much early Pungent Stench influenced goregrind. Early EPs and the demos are extremely close to the wilder style Dead Infection, with the chunky sound, the groovy part and the heavy emphasis on d-beat. A personal favorite.

That's kind of a great idea though. Considering Brotzmann did shows with grindcore bands, it's also kinda meta
10/10 discography. Their later stuff is a tad weaker but everything up to Apology for Pathology is top notch.
I really like some of their experiments like The Kill Sessions too.
Birdflesh are legendary ! Night of the ultimate mosh and Mongo Musicale are legit grindcore staples, plus super funny. HIghly recommend checking their drummer's other bands too (General Surgery, Jigsore Terror, Sickrecy to name a few)
Oh awesome one. Man we gotta collab once again, I'll give you a call when we have some budget to spare
Closing up 2025 with a small live EP ! I love these tracks, we're at our rawest and goriest here. Thanks for another year of support, we'll be back with more splattery old school goregrind in 2025 !

Yeah that's the portable part I'm interested in, I'll look into it
How is the sound quality on this one ? I had a similar combined cd / vinyl player but it scratched one of my vinyl BAD, like actual damage, always looked for a better / more portable one that the big player I currently own
This is not intended to be a full analysis and complete history of goregrind, but more of a summary of what the genre is and where it comes from, and what are its numerous subgenres.
I'll probably make a more developed series at some point, as this was intended for short-form videos.
People have told us a lot that we "don't actually play goregrind" because we don't sound like Gutalax, and after my initial puzzled reaction, I realized it's mostly because people have forgotten.
I made a small series of videos about what exactly is goregrind here :

Oh the memories ! So many people got into goregrind thanks to this. I remember it had LDOH, Inhume and Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition in the ost !
well deserved !
Can't wait to take the stage again. Here's some footage of our latest show, goregrind, blood, guts and our own cenobite included.

Oh boy, this is gonna be a long one.
My main band is Pulsating Cerebral Slime (also on here : @pcsgoregrind.bsky.social), we play goregrind in the early 90's style :

Asking again, I'd like to build a grindcore / goregrind starter pack.
That Cianide cover is incredible man

SADIST WITH A CHAINSAW ! #horror #goregrind #grindcore
Everyone stop what they're doing the master is here
This feels like listening to 2003 Spawn of Possession. What's happening and why is it awesome
Oh man the snare is enough to make me like this ! For the rest it feels like I'm listening to those techy bands like early Necrophagist or Pavor, this is such a blast
Damn yeah this feels like it could have been signed to Unique Leader in 2002 ! Incredible !
