I got both of mine earlier this year and while I had a sore arm both times, I luckily didn't have the exhaustion. My weirdest side effect on both was a sort of hot red flush a few inches below the injection site that lasted a few days. Warm to the touch and felt tender like a bruise. Weird!

I'm not sure, but I will say, one time in Dothan, Alabama, I ordered a beef burrito at a Mexican restaurant, and received unseasoned, dusty-dry ground beef rolled in a tortilla.

Foods that I can never learn how to bake/cook as a type II diabetic, lest I shorten my life span by decades:
1. Cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, etc.
2. Crusty sourdough bread.
3. Red beans and rice.
4. Portuguese egg tarts.
5. New York style bagels.

In an effort to constantly distract myself from...everything, I have been sucked into WaterTok. And that has led to it's inevitable conclusion, in that I just ordered $80 worth of sugar free drink mixes that I will probably hate. (I have also started dabbling in protein coffee. Help.)

I was at work all day and missed the tariff wildness, but I *did* learn that the Ohio GOP is trying to defund the state's public libraries and make every book the library has with LGBTQ content be held in a back room accessible only by showing ID. You know, like renting a porno in the 80s.
