for context my direct family never spoke against it specifically, but we were poor as fuck, pursuing an arts career was completely out of the picture so i never even thought about it before he said that
this same teacher also made a deal with me to help teach my classmates (which was like 50 people) when i got the hang of a subject and in turn i didn't have to do homework
he was very fun and a bit crazy, sadly i lost contact when he deleted all his social media
at the end of the year (and i still not sure why) he asked to see my notebook, saw all the little doodles i drew along with my notes and said "yeah theres no way around it, you're going to be an artist"
that was the first and most important support i ever received to pursue drawing seriously

growing up i never wanted to be anything nor had anything to look forward to, but i was decent at math and when my highschool teacher took notice of it, he not only encouraged me to pursue a career but also started training me for it, giving me books and extra tests
