I have two raspberry. bushes that I inherited and no idea the types. One fruits in July and the other September. After flash freezing do you bag them and then freeze?

Glen Ample raspberries from the garden, flash-frozen last summer, went into a coulis for tiramisu last night. Folded through the mascarpone with the coffee-soaked sponge. πŸ“πŸ§Ί #kitchengarden

What a bounty of leeks you'll have next Autumn, Deana. I lile the blue de solaise, they make a wonderful soup.

Like sourdough bread, do you put the cookie dough in the fridge and if so does it rise?
I love pistachios in everything.

The UK edition of the crown silence, out now!

Happy πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ UK pub day to THE CROWN’S SILENCEβ€”a deeply researched narrative history of the monarchy’s centuries-long entanglement with slavery. This is the new history book the far right loathes. Please buy it b/c it’s important history butβ€”alsoβ€”it will really piss them off if it does well in the UK!!πŸ˜‰πŸ˜˜

Last week no living person had seen a #kakapo lay an egg. Now you can watch it on our webcam: Rakiura laid her second today (15:01 on 25/1/2025). She'll probably lay another in 3 days' time. #conservation #kakapo2026 #birds www.doc.govt.nz/our-work/kak...

Leek and potato potage. A winter soup, smooth and comforting. GruyΓ¨re stirred in at the end for a touch of richness. Served with homemade sourdough. Nothing fancy, just comfort in a bowl. β™‘πŸ«•γƒ»β‚Šβœ§ πŸ₯”πŸƒ

Wedges of hispi / sweetheart cabbage charred in butter then steamed for a bit are so fucking good. I get re-excited every time!

Introducing one of our newest in the breakfast tweed collection… This is cranberry orange scone! It coordinates beautifully with the collection, particularly with berry muffin, latte and espresso, for building a fade.

I called my recipe book Sabzi – vegetables. But the name was trademarked. And my legal ordeal began The granting of patents and trademarks to foods and words from the global south is part of a long colonial grab. It’s time to realise we share what we cook, and what we call it
