I tend to people watch more when around a body of water with no lifeguards on duty, which is the case for the nude beach I frequent. I don’t get in the water unless I’m with someone, and if I did, I’d hope someone would keep an eye on me. Drowning isn’t like it is portrayed on TV, it’s often silent.

Being an introvert and someone that struggles with social anxiety, I was very nervous. After 15 minutes of shaking off my nerves, things really calmed down and I felt relaxed and surprisingly at home. The sun and the gentle breeze warmed and cooled me in ways I had never felt. It was amazing.
