The Green party has been unapologetically supportive of trans people and they took a seat from Labour after they gave cracked down on trans people. Liberal parties cannot abandon trans people without losing their base.
Basically two groups in Labour right now:

-Blue Labour types, grenade in one hand, pin in the other screaming that if they're going you're going with them
