Pixar was one of my favorite film studios as a kid. I was totally devastated to learn this culture was going on behind the scenes.

Lasseter's shitty behavior was tolerated for years and years because he was a golden goose. Only once he stopped laying the golden eggs, they dumped his creepy ass.

And then, you know, also plenty of queerphobia. Plenty of guys who've tried to "correct me" because they wanted to get in my pants.

I've worked with PLENTY of great guys. But the bad ones have been horrible. Please treat us like people and not subhumans.

It's literally my job to coordinate people, make sure tasks are done and I have been yelled at and told "Get off your ass and do something" when I AM DOING THE "SOMETHING".

I *AM* multidisciplined. But sometimes it's never good enough. It's just "shut up and deliver product."

I work in production and have historically been belittled because I'm a woman. Not every guy I work with is a pig, but there's been plenty of them. Plenty of dudes who think my opinions don't matter because I'm a woman. Plenty of dudes who think I'm automatically a bitch because I'm a woman.
