As an ex-vangelical, I remember purity culture in Texas and "purity ball" ceremonies in which young girls basically pledged that their fathers (or older adult men in the family) would safeguard their virginity.
Basically, girls would ceremonially marry their dads. And all because of sex.
Just a few examples: Katy Perry was a CCM artist. Britney Spears grew up Southern Baptist. Jessica Simpson was given a purity ring by her minister father. Justin Timberlake is the child of a Baptist church choir director. Christina Aguilera is a Mormon homeschool alum.

I think the younger researchers into the psychology of the networks that Epstein was a part of, like this YouTuber, are doing some really good work and not falling into the traps that I mentioned in my previous thread about how and where David Icke went off the rails.

I'm not proud to have spent so many hours studying this stuff, since it's utterly bizarre, but I'm pretty sure that by the time the dust settles on the Epstein files, the public will know the villains are *human* blood-drinking child-sacrificing pedophilic aristocratic Satanic cannibal sociopaths.
I wouldn't be surprised if this woman David Icke interviewed and then used as the foundation for his grand theory actually was forced to participate in rituals where she did see royalty and world leaders do unspeakable things, but any "shapeshifting" was probably hallucination, likely drug-induced.
Most survivors claim the "bloodlines" the so-called Illuminati care about are: descendants of European nobility or other royal lineages, blond hair and blue eyes, having psychic powers, and Rh-negative blood. There are a lot of common themes people claim to know, and reptilians aren't one of them.
BTW, there's a common antisemitic trope that I don't think David Icke promotes, of blaming all the world's problems on Jews, and then claiming that Ashkenazi Jews are actually Khazars who converted to Judaism, but the DNA disproves the Khazar theory, and even if it were true, it's still blood libel.

The other big mistake David Icke made, along with other conspiracy theorists, was taking the Protocols of the Elders of Zion seriously by substituting "Illuminati" for "Jews", then getting called antisemitic for taking a known hoax seriously since it was assumed he was actually talking about Jews.
A lot of MKULTRA survivors talk about being given LSD and unknown drugs before rituals, and I haven't heard others speak of shapeshifting reptilians (although some UFO abductees talk about "reptilian" aliens). Imagine how different Icke's career would be if he hadn't fixated on one person's claims.
