まずろう者のコミュニティーで生まれ独自の文法や語彙を持つ「日本手話」がある。ろう児にとっては母語となることが多い言葉だ。もう一つは日本語の文法に手の動きを合わせた「日本語対応手話」である。中途失聴者には学びやすい。（一部抜粋）
