A view of 1920's and Victorian houses across the street from the Art Gallery Of Ontario, viewed from the museum's upper sculpture hall.
Four paintings by Lawren Harris of Toronto houses, circa WWI.
I love how the views in and out of the museum historically and visually reference each other.

I did an oil painting of Gene Wilder as 'The Baron Beaufort Von Frankenstein', from 'Young Frankenstein', for an old friend of mine. We loved that movie so much growing up and watched it so many times, that we practically had it memorized.
He just framed it. I think it worked out nicely! โค๏ธ

Georgia Strait, between Vancouver the city, and Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Immortalized in a very funny, quite intentional poster during Expo '86 that said, "B.C. Ferries. Cruising The Straits."

Three pieces by J.W. Morrice at the AGO.
Morrice specialized in small postcard-sized paintings. They're remarkable for their freshness and their remarkable sensitivity to light and atmosphere. See them in person if you can.

Frank Gehry's 'Forma', going up in Toronto. It's got a substantive iridescent skin that's also surprisingly subtle and sensitive to light.

Chow and the city need to seriously step up to stop this. There needs to be pressure on the Feds as well.
Ford's list of misdeeds and harms is pages long. His peculiar fixation on forcing expensive, damaging 'megaprojects' onto Toronto's public waterfront needs to be forcibly stopped.

I oppose it and I don't live downtown.
The islands are a park, a refuge and a gem. Acquisitive and connected players have been angling to sabotage it for commercial gain, for decades. And they would wreck it if we let them.
Pearson is right up the road. We don't need the expansion.

This is an insider push poll, built to fluff, hand-delivered from the odious Nick Kouvalis straight to The Star.
Hey Toronto Star: how about less uncontested stenography and more actual, factual reporting?

'Squatters'. 'Elites'. I saw red when he said this. The nerve.
The homes arguably predate the airport. The Islanders have fought hard for those homes, and have legitimately consented to live under more government than most in Toronto. They've the right to stay.

Their demand that the whole wide world was sinful and horrible, that it had to be mistrusted, that one shouldn't want to leave the Church to explore or enjoy it, and that ultimately it was doomed because of its inherent awfulness.
Anti-life, anti-mind, anti-individual and anti-love.

Semion Mogilevich is my bet, probably even more than Putin. Anything the Donald wanted to do mob-wise, it probably all led more directly back to that guy than anything as straightforwardly visible as Putin.
But Russia's just one of many ways he's hideously compromised.

So he was meeting with Mossad, the spy agency, on how to manipulate the President into starting a war on behalf of a foreign nation.
This is straight-up treason, and I want to see him hang for it.
