Formation successful, maintain altitude
For example, a player might not notice there were too many eggs for one player on right. Or simply take comfort in being at basket. Players might not realize to tag the scrapper, etc...
This mutual awareness and handling of bosses is tough, but so nice when it happens
It's not even about spending time playing together to achieve this. The strategies here aren't radical by any means. They generally never are due to bosses being fully predictable
Rather, it's often the overwhelming information and decision making that gets in the way of things
There's so many small things that can go wrong.
One person doesn't position to de-aggro the flipper. Forgetting to take the maw to basket. Not going back after delivering the maw. Not going basket with the Eel + Scrapper. One mishap and it makes matters much worse for the other
It's always so satisfying when a long chain of boss aggro and rotations swap nicely between 2 players. It's something I have with almost no other player due to how many and how subtle factors are at play
120 HT Grillers
Almost 300 without even a HT nightwave
First game starting off good
That aside, I want to especially shoutout Marty, Leia, Ako, Vallu, Reyko, Bicouli, Prim, Sadface, SoL, Hydro & Stellar Tides. It's all the people I played these events with, most of which I did many. Thank you for all your effort! π
Strategizing and grinding out these events has been so fun
It's a bit bittersweet, because the gap in performance has certainly widened between west and JP. Both inside and outside of EW.
It's often on my mind how to help the scene close it. For now there's still long ways to go, but I hope maybe in the next game to see us do better
All my placements in the Eggstra Work events. The SR event that's most contested by the best JP and Western teams.
In 8 out of 12 of them the highest western score, and the highest overall placements of any western player.
Thank you everyone that helped me during these events!
Nevermind it got cancelled, the power went out on one of the players π₯
A poster I worked on for the Watcher Bingo Tournament (minus the incredible center artwork by "Cas")
I'm playing in the event too! We're having our first match in 30 minutes in case anyone wants to watch me struggle manoeuvring through hundreds of new rooms in this game
At least I managed to avoid the banana
I'm stealing the boo figure behind them
391 Golden Eggs on Eggstra Work #12
Getting sick during EW was not on my bingo card, but glad it had little impact on the games. We had the route for w4/w5 quite fast, but took a while to get consistent. On top of w2/w3 being tough as well, very fun seed!

Told myself I wouldn't actually attempt this, but I couldn't stop listening to it. The whole song is such a banger. Pray for me
