That being said if every game jam takes 5 years off my life that may not be for long
Yea I mean I’m fine just getting told what to make but for a game jam if it’s not something to show off a standout core idea and I don’t get to flex in some way it feels kinda meaningless
Note to self if I get asked to spend several hours on a menial gimmick that is completely un-integral to the core of a 48 hour game jam game, to the point where it can just be excluded with no change to the overall game, I will instead light myself ablaze
Small update-got the hose working a bit better, actually spawning the water correctly and following the camera :)
Cables are still a struggle so I just replaced them with cylinders, not sure how to actually use them so they’re not tweaking all the time, oh well
