I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

So after galavanting around the neighbourhood for the last week my body has decided that I will not be physically doing anything today.

This is a step up from needing to call community nurses in for wound care after toddling around the house for a day.

I like this progress 👋☕️🇦🇺

Went on hiking poles, for taxi reasons, but I now know I could get my chair in there! The new venue is so much better.

Taking the chair out tomorrow. It’s going really well.

Of course I won’t be logging every day, but this is so much better! I can think (because I haven’t had to think about every single foot placement) and I’m physically tired like someone who went outside and not brain deceased like someone doing a maths-olympiad 🧑‍🦽‍➡️👋🇦🇺

The people around here, in my local neighbourhood, are too kind and thoughtful… Public transport might be another matter 😎😅😂

Got a physical workout coming to the cafe (good)

No wounds starting (yay!) and…

Not completely mentally exhausted from trying to work out where to put my feet one after the other, like I was doing advanced calculus (double bonus)

Got here in record time too (for me!)

While I can’t carry it for balance reasons, I can lift it folded into a car boot. Which is a big win. (There is a bag apparently though) I own the chair, my friends own the car boots.

It is, and it will be! I’m actually still sitting in it at home… Really should get up at do things 😅♿️

I bought a carriage… Well at least this is easier to park. I walk at home unaided but this will make things a lot easier when I go out. (Feet are wound free now)

This is my choice and it’s a good thing. I was well over all the wounds after each day out with friends.
