We really don’t need to talk about this MAGA loving, Canada hating asshat! He was hired as a villain because he is a villain! He didn’t get an Oscar nomination despite his best $$$ efforts. We can just ignore Kevin!
I’m digging the C outfit! Definitely like the jacket.
How did I miss the existence of ‘Silent Movie’ where spiring filmmakers Mel Funn, Marty Eggs and Dom Bell have an idea for a Silent Feature Film!
Any opinions formed on The Wiz vs The Wizard of Oz?
A noir-style illustrated poster titled “The Case of the Disappearing Copyright.” The Lockette—a cartoon character whose body is an open yellow padlock—cautiously steps out of an open vault marked with a copyright symbol. A strong beam of light shines from outside the frame, casting a large copyright symbol onto the floor. Floating eyes and a magnifying glass with a question mark evoke a detective mystery. Red footprints lead toward the open vault door. Text reads: “Public Domain Day 2026” and “Jan 21st @10am PT: Virtual.” Illustrated by Freya Morgan.
🎉 Join us January 21 for a virtual #PublicDomainDay celebration! We’re throwing an online party to mark the latest wave of creativity entering the #publicdomain .
Works from 1930 & sound recordings from 1925 are now free, and we’re celebrating together.

Two large anthropomorphic bears in black and orange hockey jerseys, wearing orange helmets, aggressively skate forward on an ice rink, holding hockey sticks. A small raccoon with a red "B" on its chest stands between them. In the foreground, a small character in a blue hockey uniform is falling backward onto the ice, holding a hockey stick, with a surprised expression. Cartoon style, bright colors, indoor ice hockey rink setting.
On this day in 1981, Raccoons on Ice aired on CBC. The TV movie featured Hockey Night in Canada's Danny Gallivan doing play-by-play.

From left to right: the first child wears large round glasses, a brown pom-pom hat, plaid coat, and holds books; the second child wears goggles on their head, a dark coat with fur collar, and has an open-mouthed expression; the third child wears a striped knit hat, plaid coat, scarf, and holds stacked books while making a surprised face. Bare trees and snow are visible in the blurred background.

A black-and-white portrait of a young woman with long, curly hair cascading over her shoulders, wearing a dark top with a high collar, photographed against a dark background, with a signature in the bottom left corner.
She was known as "America's Sweetheart" but Mary Pickford was proudly Canadian.
Born in Toronto, her fame was second only to Charlie Chaplin during the Silent Film Era. She was also a trailblazer in many ways in Hollywood.
This is her story.
