One of my dream acts to see live. Clips I've seen from when Cabral/Machado were filling out the sound were amazing.

Perfect post.
youtube asking me if was not was walk the dinosaur "feels emotionally manipulative"
LMAO, what?!? this is not a joke, youtube legitimately just asked me if the music video for Was (not was)-walk the dinosaur feels "emotionally manipulative"
I remember hating that movie back then, but have thought about revisiting it since I now teach HS. Maybe not?
Harry Belafonte was some kind of civil rights/acting/singing superman. He also made a bunch of interesting albums in the late 60s and early 70s, donning his folk-rock cape. I've written about them on my Record Room page: www.patreon.com/bobstanley
Just saw that Marcello Pretto died. An endearing oddball who made the world a better place. Gonna listen to something by him as I go to sleep tonight.
And gig they should. Tremendous talents, both of them.
Is she solo now?
Figurines of Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fighting each other
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
Ornette Coleman was born in Fort Worth, Texas on this day in 1930.
daylight saving time is a corrupt scheme by Big Smart Appliance to make you frustrated with having to change all the clocks twice a year and submit your oven to the horrors of Logging On
There's something deeply obscene and broken about the fact that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are bombing elementary schools in an illegal war of aggression, and there's still a sense among the opposition that it has to be explained in terms of gas prices in order to get American voters to care.

I try to stay anonymous-ish thar way. Helps, too, that I am hard to find online due actor and more well known people with my name in my field.
Sorry you have experienced that. Love your thoughts here.
Holy heck, Fugazi just released the 1992 Albini sessions for Bandcamp Friday! Proceeds going to Letters Charity.
Apparently light pollution is awful for them, which makes sense.
I remember catching them in the summer in Texas and Alabama in the '70s. Seemed like there were millions of them. Can't think of the last time I saw one.
Well now I want to know the other two!
Hah. Hancock left a safe seat for this. And now the seat has (at least temporarily) flipped blue.
Update: wife voting tonight and said they now have six machines for the Dems.
Did this morning!
But not every place has separate lines. We used to have one line, but you checked in at separate tables. Now the whole thing is separated. Maybe not ideal in highly partisan times?
Yes in this county they are.
I think that's where I voted, and part of the issue was they had way more GOP machines than Dem ones (8 vs 2). At least that was true early today. (I think election workers were trying to fix it.) That hyper red area was not ready for Dems to turn out.
Problem was access code was invalid after 30 minutes, which would me reprocessing all voters. Election workers were great and were trying to get more machines, but it all shows how bureaucratic decisions make voting harder or easier, and they went harder (for Dems). 2/2
Not claiming conspiracy, but my voting place in Tarrant County this morning had ten voting machines. Eight were for the GOP primary, while only two were for Dems. It's a very red area, so I get some split, but Dems were piling up, while GOP were sailing through. 1/2
But at this moment, the answer is Submarine Bells.
