I’m going to guess 1, in that he’s a photojournalist but hasn’t won any awards.
Basically it was going to follow a bunch of students at this rich high school with secrets, and the narrator was going to be like a snarky gossip blogger whose identity was unknown. Eddie/Sebastian was just one of those secrets. But then I loved them too much and here we are. 😂
The lie was #1! It was never set in present day (though for a while it was set in 2016).
About my YA romance!
- It used to be set in modern day, but now is set in 2012
- It was originally conceived as an ensemble mystery audio drama
- The LI is now on the archery team, but was originally a swimmer

Alternatively, he would stay out but would try to date more “respectable” guys (quiet, from a rich family, etc.). He might even marry one eventually. But he’d be bored and less himself.
