If the Depp-Heard fiasco didn't, the Blake Lively smear campaign should drive home an important media literacy lesson that I'm afraid many are missing: when it seems like everybody is suddenly talking about something, consider the possibility that the viral moment was engineered.

Came up with a new game idea/prototype this morning, just using 2 decks of playing cards to test the idea and it works! I played multiple games of it with my mum and we both enjoyed it. I love it when a game concept works in early iterations!

@timmiller.bsky.social just saw the chat you and @jonfavs.bsky.social had, and you mention surprise at the polls on the approval for the assassination skewed younger. One thought is, could survivorship bias also be a factor? Older people most negatively affected simply aren’t around to anymore

Picked up prints of a recent painting of mine as a friend had ordered one. These are poor photos taken in my car with the print in plastic but I am floored by how good they look, by how much it pops and looks like actual paint. Super happy!
