Fun Fact: U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow was raised in Clare, and was the first female class president of her high school! The more you know! 😄

Huge thank you to Justin Pomerville for inviting me to speak to his members at UA Local 85 and for showing me around the training facility. Unions are the backbone of Michigan, and I will always work to stand up for them!

Thank you to the Birmingham-Bloomfield Dems for having me! Michiganders know what’s on the line this year and how important it is that Democrats hold the Secretary of State’s office.

As Secretary of State, I will always stand up to protect our Constitution and voices — but I also want to make the office more accessible with more walk-in hours, expanding mobile offices in rural, urban, and college towns, and delivering a digital driver’s license!

It’s always great to be in Macomb, especially on a day as important as today. The Macomb County Ministerial Alliance hosted a wonderful breakfast followed by the Sterling Heights Unity Walk.

We must continue to carry Dr. King’s legacy with us as we stand up for our rights!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. came to Michigan to remind us that democracy only works when people’s rights are protected and when leaders defend them.

His message still matters today.

I’m committed to safeguarding the rights and voices of every Michigander.

That’s how we honor Dr. King’s legacy.

Deputy SoS Aghogho Edevbie’s campaign was centered on putting Michiganders first and standing up for democracy, concerns we share.

In meeting Democrats across Michigan, it’s clear they want a fighter to protect our institutions and serve with integrity, not treat the office as a consolation prize.

Another day, another democratic committee meeting! It was great to meet folks at Shiawassee Dems and share our concerns about protecting elections and standing up to extremists.
