Yes, by some. But you'll find both terms in use around the world right now โ sometimes used to mean the same thing, sometimes not.

Chronic fatigue is a symptom of; Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is (usually) a synonym for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, although some doctors differentiate them, based on the presence or absence of non-fatigue symptoms, like PEM, pain, etc.
Oh, sorry, you said "chronic fatigue" but I donโt know if you meant ME/CFS or chronic fatigue as a symptom of something else?
Stimulants can be a real problem for pwME, giving you a sense of false energy that results in overexertion and more PEM. Please be careful. If you have orthostatic intolerance or MCAS, as many do, treating those can help a lot. ๐ค
Just for clarity, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis or ME is often called ME/CFS to embrace one of the older terms still used by some doctors. The abbreviation CF is usually used for cystic fibrosis, a completely different condition.
Masking *is* adaptation.
I've just realised who JD Vance reminds me of โ itโs Mr Collins! His chubby, sweaty, oily, obsequious foolishness is a perfect match ๐
Be right there! ๐
Murder-chicken in my part of the woodsโฆ
And then they recommend exercise!? You know whatโs a risk factor in Long Covid? EXERCISE!! ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
With clear evidence of a genetic predisposition linked to relevant biological pathways, these findings need to mark a turning point away from medicine's historic failure to correctly research this disease and meet its duty of patient care.

That sounds about my pace, too โ ok if I follow both? Thanks for the recs, @onesickvet.bsky.social โบ๏ธ
Please wear a mask in public spaces as itโs one of the easiest ways to show youโre against mask bans & to show support & solidarity with #immunocompromised / disabled / chronically ill people.

Winthrop? I was channeling John Bunyan :)
Definitely nothing lawful about itโฆ
Well, that would only be a problem if it were happening outside of your imagination. If you actually gave a damn about women ("little" or otherwise), and werenโt just being a performative schmuck, you'd worry about the >1000 women killed as a result of intimate partner violence in the US every year.
When other dictators do it, we call it being "disappeared" โ I think thatโs pretty powerful? Unlawfully detained? Sure. Renditioned? Yeah, that too.
This is the point, I guess. And all the people "self-deporting", not just because theyโre worried they'll be disappeared by Kristi Noem โ though thatโs definitely a concern โ but also because the US is no longer the Celestial City they were promisedโฆ
Thatโs a hard watchโฆ

I think we could all name quite a few people over 40 who do not have the necessary maturity or judgment โฆ and they are currently running the country.
We just had a relatively (compared to this) minor fuckup that stopped benefit payments to vulnerable people (flagged as vulnerable in the system, but still victimised by the system) โ a number of deaths resulted ๐
Move fast and break things is the most destructive, wasteful, infantile strategy everโฆ
They are breaking peopleโs lives and democratic institutions built on the blood, sweat, and tears, the courage and the sacrifice of generationsโฆ
Oh shit, NASA runs on Fortranโฆ ๐ซข
Anyone else faced with the prospect of a large number of people aged over 150 receiving social security would not immediately assume fraud โ they would think "hmm, that doesnโt seem right โ what else could be causing this pattern?" and eventually theyโd ask a grownupโฆ ๐คทโโ๏ธ
What constantly jumps out at me with each of these extraordinary mistakes, is that not only do they demonstrate they are profoundly underqualified for their roles, but that also they have no critical thinking ability whatsoever โ thatโs scaryโฆ
You seem to be talking about dysautonomia here, though? These are different autonomic states. Dysautonomia is a common comorbidity, but is not the same as ME/CFS itself.
Vile. ๐คฎ
Not really, though? Was it one of the batch with the special featureโฆ? ๐ฃ๐ฅ
