no matter what she's doing. so when she does something that would seem silly in other contexts, it just feels like the normal flow of conversation for them. anyway here's a lil bit of wip wed for you
it also helps that dimitri's angst and obsession is an impenetrable wall so when hapi makes a sarcastic comment it just bounces off and they can go on talking about whatever but i think it's a fun dynamic to write bc like even when hapi's dead serious she's still hapi and dimitri takes her seriously
both hapi AND dimitri both try to be v calm about their own traumas & so they just keep going when other people would get mood whiplash. so hapi can snipe "you're late she's dead" and also express sincere concern and dimitri just keeps going on his conversational track wo acknowledging either thing
