Took this #wetplate today.

I’m considering a 4800 WS power supply and two 2400 WS lights and modifiers for studio wet plate work. A new Speedotron 4803cx is ruinously expensive, but I feel like folks are always needing to repair used lighting equipment. Tips on avoiding crap used lighting grass would be appreciated! #wetplate

Sometimes, my wet plates just get fucked up. And, sometimes, those fuck ups look cool. Embrace serendipity!

So, I’m primarily a photographer of nudes. My work ranges in eroticism from “That’d be ok in some churches.” to “Larry Flynt is blushing!”

But I also love playing with lumen printing and photographing fungi, bats, and native California wildflowers. #photography

So, I shoot a lot of “Trichromie” (trichromatic false color positives.) The theory is simple: take three separate b&w exposures each filtered through a red, blue, or green filter. Those are your R, G, and B channels, which can be combined into a false color positive. See the attached images!
