I’m a very longtime npr listener and the tone has definitely shifted since they were defunded. It’s subtle but it’s there.

Not sure if your question is serious or not BUT capitalism depends on endless growth. Corps will always seek out new markets/forms of revenue or lose investors to those who do. They will push as far as they can until consumers walk away. It's not greed; it's the rules of capitalism as a system.

I think this story is a really good example for people to look at when it comes to understanding bias at NYT. It's not that the reporter, Dana Rubinstein, says anything outright false. But the framing, word choices, etc., add up to an unprofessional and biased account.

If gender were the immutable biological reality they claim to believe it is, they wouldn't need to spend so much energy policing it like this.

In the age of social media, this is so easily trackable (and does enormous damage to brand reputation), It's a stupid self-own.

Isn't that just basic 'working in an office' behavior? Also, a Tide pen, toothbrush, paste, and floss.

We can easily manage a couple extra dollars at every fill-up. The working poor cannot, especially on top of grocery price increases.

From art history: personification. When a concept or idea is represented in fictional, symbolic human form. Ex. Statue of Liberty.

The Battle to Enact a Billionaire’s Tax In California The fury of ordinary people over the plutocratic enablers of Trumpism is driving the issue forwardβ€”but it’s still a rocky road ahead.

Instead of using the slogan that billionaires should pay β€œtheir fair share,” people use a more open-ended call: β€œMake billionaires pay.” That shift might seem subtle, but there’s an important distinction: Only the latter implies punishment. trib.al/RXGvKTp

Truth

09.03.2026 14:57 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Tariffs are inflationary.

Energy crises are inflationary.

Central banks arbitrarily dropping rates is inflationary.

Everything Trump wants is inflationary.

And with high inflation, the people who win are those who own assets.

Are you starting to understand yet?

I’d bet that if the global economy was instead dependent upon the *Queers* of Hormuz, things would be going much more smoothly.
