ROCK & RULE quite literally rocks and rules. Says so right on the title. Beloved Nelvana classic.
I tend to think it’s just a live action iteration of an animated design.
I’d hesitate to make it that different a ship and tend to think of it as a mission profile and interior configuration and cargo loadout difference because a) the LAL and ILM models seen on-screen have those clamps and b) “assault carrier” was a name coined to make product sound more exciting.
