If you’re making an XI then the manager could be Tommy McLean. Manager of Rovers for 1 game in 1996 before buggering off to join his brother at Dundee United. First game in charge of United was back at Stark’s and we got our first win of the season.
Me cosy in my bed overnight instead of being a sucker and getting up to watch that nonsense of a fight from Texas.
It all seems surreal now. I actually met him in a car park behind Jackie O’s at the start of the season and he seemed like a decent guy. Little did I know what was about to happen….
