Arrived in Albuquerque (for I’m performing at Hyena’s this weekend) and asked someone to take this picture of me. Then I asked another person; then another; and so on. But the sixth person agreed and as soon as I saw it I thought, CAPTION CONTEST! My best try: “Emo (22 X 3)”; can you do better?

My goal is to look like me as well; that’s why I work out in front of a mirror

This reminds me that I really need to see Emo Philips perform live before I die. Which, on the current trajectory the world is on, may happen much sooner than desired or expected

Also, I got to see @emophilips.bsky.social open for Weird Al in Ottawa a few years ago, and he was brilliant. Comedy that is so sharp. He's a bucket list comedian. Just go see him.

The two best comedy sets I ever saw live were Emo Philips and Emo Philips again. And I did see Eddie Murphy, having paid way more cash to see him.

Emo's surreal comedy is deeply intellectual and completely absurd at the same time. There's no better joke craftsman alive.
