The drift at The Times started with the dreadful decision to appoint the odious Tony Gallagher as editor. While Tony, has pretty good tastes in food, his political views are Trumpian.

Staggering how some Conservatives criticise the Government for things that all observers with half a brain can see were Labour’s inheritance from their incompetence.

It’s the “Tall Poppy Syndrome” - but it’s far too early to judge Starmer or his government. But that doesn’t stop us. So we throw invective at him. The Left call him a “Tory” because he hasn’t nationalised anything yet. The Right call him a Marxist because he hasn’t sold off the BBC.
Let's assume that there are some people who will genuinely struggle from the IHT on farmers tax. Surely they can find a better spokesperson than fat cat "gentleman farmer" millionaire Clarkson who admits that his farm ownership is a tax dodge.
