would really love to find a steady General Practitioner who hasn’t left New York when I need to refill a prescription!!!!!! Leads welcome!!!!
the “Iris” ‘90s compilation reels are making me sad in a way the “Silver Springs” don’t… maybe it’s the “and if I’d give up forever to touch you.” Nostalgia’s a helluva drug.
“Someone Woke Up” is such a great uptempo that I wish was performed more in cabaret
sorry what just thinkin’ bout a Liza Minnelli Leona Samish
wish City Center was doing PASSING STRANGE as their gala performance instead
Amber Iman “All That Jazz”
there’s an AI Demi Moore WICKED trailer attacking my algorithm with Nicole Kidman as Glinda and I have to stop myself from commenting “Mira Sorvino or Drew Barrymore would be a better”
they’re gonna drag Sandler out to do some Opera Man Chalamet bit
so what cameo role will Timmy be gracing The Met with in two seasons?
timeline cleanse
Riis on Sunday?
a frightening feeling that the gates are not closing but already locked
A new Milky White has entered the Woods.
look Coffee Shop was truly lousy but it shouldn’t be a Chase Manhattan
Bernadette Peters “The Ladies Who Lunch”
Kelly Bishop on Elaine Stritch
first Mary I’ve seen snort the pillow like a line to smell out where the booze is hidden. The Hedwigiest “American Pie”
Or just one read through where the scenes are played chronologically… for science!!!
Has “Bobby and Jackie and Jack” ever worked? Could even Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, and Steve Martin make it funny-funny?
Such a tricky character Beth. Slapstick comedienne but also deliver a scorching soprano in your first scene. And not be a Mary. Katie Rose Clark sparkled. Glinda hangover, but shades of Julie Hagerty, Anna Kendrick, and MTM/Laura Petrie. Madeline Kahn is my dream Beth. Marin I’m sure was a gift.
I hope one day to see a high school perform the original musical as written (“Now You Know” dance break included)
Nancy Walker woulda been a crackerjack Mary. I wish the actor playing Beth’s Father wore a wig or trucker hat to differentiate the track.
Sorry to Gussie, but “The Blob” (Sondheim does Kander & Ebb?) and “Darling” shoulda stayed cut. “Growing Up” has the “Country House” problem of sounding like Into the Woods. Not sure if it’s baked into the script or Friedman’s vision but Frank as Bobby in Company did work for me.
unintentional Lindsay Mendez double feature: Merrily pro-shot and Everyday Rapture slime
I still miss “Rich and Happy”
Dame Shirley Bassey “You’d Better Love Me” sixty years to the day
