Yeh I still have mine somewhere. As my daughter starts her own Paramedicine journey, I look on with a great deal of envy into what sheβs studying. Despite all the challenges we face, Iβd have my time all over again if I could.
School of thought that reasonably says EoLC pts shouldnβt present to ambo services if care is already in place. However, I wonder if that sufficiently takes into the actions and reactions of family & careers who simply want timely assistance. We need to be ready to manage these calls appropriately.
Got mine a month ago Tracy. My mum found she had bowel cancer during this screening process. She was asymptomatic at the time, so thank goodness for the test as it clearly aided detection well before she even knew and led to a positive outcome.
Knowing the authors of this book as I do, this is bound to be a fantastic publication!

Your periodic reminder that vaccines have been around for over 200 years.
They aren't new.
Their effectiveness is undeniable.
Don't believe me? Go walk in any old cemetery and look at all the graves of children <5.
Our babies used to die.
All. The. Time.
Now they don't.
