So apparently this is a big trend because its done to garner attention when selling the material. Long ass titles apparently help sell the idea better than simple smaller ones, so they get the idea of slamming as much as they can in the title to catch a potential consumers attention.

Honestly a crack in time surprised me the most. If ToD was insomniac testing the water with the ps3, CiT was it going full throttle after realizing what they could do now with no restraints. Starship travel, weapon customs, all the neat mechanics they put in. Was surprised what was cut in the museum
I just finished playing the "Future" trilogy for Ratchet & Clank. A nice trip in the past and they were pretty neat. ToD was fun even as a bridge game. Q4B was ok even if it was short. CiT was probably the strongest. Loved it thr most, withheld only drawback being those hard time puzzles.
