Why wouldn't they blame the vulnerable party who has the audacity to not be in a car? They do it all the time with cyclists.

Is there any chance the cops can do anything? I keep reading how they are utterly indifferent down south. I refuse to leave my bike outside unless its an absolute necessity. To the point I desperately want to get a cargo but couldnt envisage locking it at the shops so its pointless.
Off the back of covid a few months ago and a lingering 18+mth back injury. I foolishly decided to enter #GNR2026 so here I am again trying to get fit.
I may pick a charity so follow this broken old buggers journey.
