Net Zero barely nudges your bill.
Fossilβfuel wars send it through the roof.
So when Farage and his ilk slags off renewables while fanning conflict, remember who actually hikes your costs.

I think I'm right to be sceptical about the idea that investment in Film Studios is the right thing for us. It might not be the unique proposition we're being led to believe it is.
I'm still not sure what Sunderlands USP is compared to all the other studios either expanding or being developed?
As I work in the construction industry, I get to see trends in construction activity. Whether that's in design, planning applications or in tenders or contract starts across the Country.

Iβm Keir for you: The PM is visiting a community center in London to discuss the impact. Expect a pooled interview with broadcasters mid-morning. Thereβs one quote on rising bills in his words trailed overnight that warrants chasing up: βI will always be guided by what is best for the British public. And no matter the headwinds, supporting working people and their families with the cost of living is always top of my mind.β
I mean, this just isn't true, is it? If Starmer was focused on the cost of living crisis he wouldn't insist on no customs union and no single market? Nor would he embrace the negative economic consequences of his anti-migrant policy?
Like everything else about Starmer, this is empty rhetoric.

Having suffered a house fire that meant we lost most of our belongings, and lived in a hotel and a rented house for 7 months, I know you can rebuild.
But it takes real courage to walk into a burning building.
Take the time today to check your smoke detector and that you're insured.
As devastating it is to lose a building, huge respect to the Glasgow Firefighters.
No loss of life and stopping it spreading to adjoining properties has to be seen as a win for them.
Hope the station can reopen soon and that they can find a developer who rebuilds the facade as was.
I just want to make sure that everyone knows Trump's war of choice in Iran is costing us $900 million a day according to the latest figures
Not $900 a day, not $9,000 a day, not $90,000 a day, not $900,000 a day, not $9 million a day, not $90 million a day

Given Trump's illegal war that is devastating the Middle East and pushing up energy bills, Keir Starmer should advise the King to call off Aprilβs state visit to the US.
A state visit should not be given to someone who repeatedly insults and damages our country.
Why would a pedestrian do that to the infrastructure we provide for them π
Today we mark International Women's Day 2026. This year we mark 115 years of International Women's Day, which was first celebrated in 1911.
This year's theme is 'Give To Gain'. Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support.

Took me nearly twenty minutes when I woke up on Thursday to realise it wasn't Friday morning.
The downside is I feel I've worked six days this week, but the upside is I've had two Friday mornings where I've looked forward to the weekend.
