FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.

I have written them, and others, about issues, I know who is running, most people I know vote similar to how I vote. the use of force against civilians and threats against the world are unacceptable, I'm frustrated with DNC leadership, allowing CR's and keeping the gov't open.

I love the EU, Canada, etc. I haven't been to Greenland or Iceland, but I know there is a difference. I also know that my vote for Harris doesn't nullify that I'm a USAsian, and shoulder the collective burden of its actions... I don't know what to do about the things going wrong though.
