Thanks for cheering up Loch Arkaig Osprey webcam watchers who have empty nest depression.

Hi Mark. The Loch Arkaig osprey cam has been following a female osprey tagged 536 on nest one for a couple of months. She bonded with a male LV0 but didn’t breed this year. The Arkaig community named them Aurora and Garry. She has not been seen on camera on July 28 so it could be her.

A Sparrowhawk pauses mid-stride along a branch, one talon lifted and head tilted down, its intense yellow eyes fixed on the ground…the very picture of someone trudging to work while internally rethinking every choice they’ve ever made.
