Good morning folks! Just a touch shy for rent I need to clear today. Trying to get $60 to $100 if possible. Forgot about auto-pay pet food so a little behind at the last second.
After 4:30pm central if I have takers, I'll livestream $30-40 sketch or line art to do today. Message if interested.
(4) By the end of the year, I want nothing more than to clear my commission list. Is it a realistic goal? I don't know. I'm going to try. At worst, I hope to clear out a lot of it and go into the next year hopefully rebuilding a bit of trust in my ability to make and create art for folks on demand.
(3) Art side: I'm still doing my slow crawl through the commission list, with three getting my immediate attention. Following that, my goal is to dig into the big list and start knocking out some of the bulk work people were amazing to throw at me that have been sitting and waiting.

July Update: Ok, so, here be where we are at.
Kiddo officially back in Job Corp, even already crushed through one of their certificates and caught up with the prior classes that started before them.
Eating somewhat consistently, should have art more regularly again. Energy levels balancing.
Yea it is... frustrating. Kiddo is now considering getting work so we can try and pool to their their passport sorted then they might travel over to Australia where their mother is at. Perhaps get work/find education over there since everything is such a shit show here.
Update Part 2: If they can get their old job back quickly or something else, we should be good and I can snap back into the routine before I was going the starving artist routine and running on fumes. Fingers crossed. We are going to do our best to not let this rob the kiddo of their future.
Update:
The plan to get more steadily into art is still the plan, but unfortunately, in less than a couple of weeks since getting in to Job Corp, the kiddo has to come home. Dickhead in chief shut down most of the contractor sites. They are going to try and hit the ground running to get work again.
Mel Uran has been such an important artist style and content wise for me as a growing artist and as a table top gamer. Right now she has a need for a surgery and could use help.

New update. Monday was a repeat with some good news. Job Corp once more failed to tell the kiddo it was delayed. Good news, the manager above it all is now involved, has direct contact with Fern. The kiddo will be first on the list once the office gets re-opened.
Some great news. The whole job Corp pick may actually happen tomorrow. At least a second named party is involved for my kid, so fingers crossed, life is moving forward.

(7) I am genuinely trying to straighten all of this out, but I just can't seem to find a foothold or room to breath before I am getting a boot crashing through my plans. Once this doctor role is filled and I can financially balance out food and the apartment, I will get this art queue a swift kick.
