New stat: 9 out of 15 UK based young adults enjoyed A Lion's Head and would be happy to read the sequel.
I would say that makes me a mid-range author. I may not be 5 stars for everyone... But I am for the readers that count.

Didn't win any book awards. But then again, neither did any of my favourite authors.
I need to find something to tether me to the real world. There is always good in bad and bad in good. That's what leaves us conflicted. Nothing is ever black or white.
How does it feel to be addicted to my phone? Terrible. I want the freedom of thirty years ago while recognizing the privilege this damn thing gives me to market my books. I wouldn't have had a chance thirty years ago so I have to be grateful. But the addiction? It's a slippery slope.
