Bathory's self titled album cover but instead of Bathory it says Birthday
@order-of-the-wolf.bsky.social hey Tommy, in case I forget tomorrow, Happy Birthday!
it really is. and also the feeling of sharing all that that with someone you've aged with.
on a side note, I highly recommend Vlure, for another joyous, angry talky singing but danceable Scottish band:

'Fig. I (PERVERT): Shows a man sitting and looking at a woman near a river. Without any tools or visible occupation, the man's gaze is labeled as predatory or "perverted." Fig. II (ARTIST): Shows the exact same man and woman in the same poses, but an easel has been added in front of the man. This single object changes the social context of his gaze from "leering" to "artistic study," labeling him an "artist."

Bluesky's new age verification system will make you choose to either hum/mumble a few words from a Dave Matthews song (song must be from Crash or Under the Table and Dreaming) or play the opening riff to Black Sabbath's Iron Man on guitar (it's ok if you're a little off as long as it's sincere)

far from my favourite album, but Ribbons is up there with my fave SoM songs.
and I really Something Fast - Eldritch at his most Bowie (complimentary).
