The glass is so thick with grit I can barely see the horizon. It’s better that way. If I can’t see them, maybe the sensors can’t see us. We’ve relocated four times in forty-eight hours, burning fuel and shielding like it’s oxygen.
The silence from Alpha has reached a physical weight.

Fragment 02

For the record:
Alpha was never in the passenger seat. They were the ghost in the comms, the architect of our digital reach. Without that tether, the SUV feels like a pressurized cabin at the bottom of the ocean.
We are archiving the physical world now. Digital is too loud.

Fragment 03 - Conclusion

We caught a localized spike on the shortwave, rhythmic, persistent. It wasn't a scan. We're being tracked by a signature that knows our frequency. Cutting the Broadcast for now. The Archive goes dark again until the next safe-zone.

I initiated the C.I. Protocol. Signal silence while I navigated the "ash-zones." Finding a base that isn't exposed or with that rhythmic hive-pulse is a nightmare. I've been moving through derelict sectors to stay ahead of the sweet smell of the rot.
