Synthetic upper and lower base layer. Similar blend base layer socks with merino socks over them and fleece sweatpants. Then I just layer on a hoodie, cotton jacket and waterproof outer. Only just started using base layer socks and that makes a hug difference.
This year the chatterbait evo from Z-man has done wonders for me for river smallmouth. Got them in 5 colors: Blue/black, green pumpkin, white, electric shad, and bluegill. Paired them with a matching Zoom super fluke.
