There’s a barrier in all games, and almost anything in life. As a fighting game player, I think a good first step is creating some genre wide fundamentals and concepts that anyone can understand and apply

I can see that. My whole stance is older games value that skill and reward it based on design and approach. You can have more skill in both Tekken 3/5, and 8, however the new era forces accessibility without the focus of skill and the old school to counterbalance

I think that if people were to use creativity and quality WITH AI helping, not replacing, we’d be in a better spot. HOWEVER that’s not what we are getting and the deeper level is very concerning imo
