First frogspawn spawn of the year in the front garden. Mr Frog has been keeping me awake with his croaking all week! South facing tiny pond so will keep an eye.
If you fancy listening to me talking about butterflies, moths and how to help them in your garden, thereβs a new podcast from the fabulous folk at Garden Organic www.gardenorganic.org.uk/our-views/th...
A new bird atlas for Britain and Ireland has been announced by five conservation organisations:
Thank you for such a lovely chat! I ordered a light box in the car on the way home π

Feral even πππ
It was lovely to meet you too! Said fetal daughter came home with a full backpack of sweets and crafts and I've come home with a book wish list!
Hey! Is the link the best way to make sure you get all the money?
HOWEVER, the picture is clear, the zoom is excellent, it came with an extra back light that wasn't pictured which can be screwed into place, an SD card USB adapter, and the bonus of the sound recording is listening to the wonder in your child's voice when the see a massive tiny snail (2/2)

Little review on my new Β£100 digital microscope...
The SD card in the back is fiddly, I can't figure out how to use the remote and I thought it connected to my laptop but it doesn't, and for some absolutely unknown reason, the video mode also records sound... (1/2)

There is also derbyshiremoths.org which has the moth news for the month, it is a great hobby! I am 5 years in now and it keeps me busy!
Fair enough! The FB group is pretty busy, but a few of us are here too so if you get stuck with anything we will help where we can π
Just checking, have you joined the Derbyshire Moths FB group?
I wasn't going to, but I'm getting a bit of FOMO. It is dropping to 4β° here in Derbyshire though with a brilliant clear full moon!

Sorry Ian, I missed your comment! It's a It's an Andonstar AD210 10.1 inch LCD, got it on Amazon π
To go with my previous post, this is 5mm grid paper. Pupa found on Honeysuckle in the garden so possibly 20 plume.
#Teammoth
Of course! It's an Andonstar AD210 10.1 inch LCD. For Β£100 it's 'cheap' but so far so good!
It's an Andonstar AD210 10.1 inch LCD, I am really enjoying myself π
If anyone is debating getting a digital microscope for Β£100, I am having a blast with mine π
Pupa is about 6mm, it's a 10 inch screen.
#teammoth
See you there!
Good luck!
Brilliant! I will see you there!
Anyone else from #TeamMoth attending this? I will be bringing my feral 4yr old to raid the craft stands (last year's butterfly pictured)
