It’s almost a year since we travelled to Scotland in a hire van that was stolen*, ran out of AdBlue in the middle of nowhere, and then spent the night in a freezing cold room with a broken window. That was only the beginning of that trip. I’ll finish the blog one day.

Rode out to the old lighthouse yesterday. Summer now fading out, just a halo of light on the horizon as rain threatened overhead. Fewer people around, a calmer sound. Quieter times are coming.
