They probably didn't think they had a need for a courtroom, but with three lawyers in the main cast and characters committing multiple crimes, I don't understand why they'd think that.

The show might need to be more mindful of their budget when greenlighting storylines. It seems like a few storylines like Naomi vs. Bill, the clinic, and Jacob going undercover have been hampered because they don't have the budget for the sets to tell these stories in full.

Jacob's undercover work is just him moving from an alley to an elevator. Very riveting.

The troubling part is that the show probably doesn't see it this way.
Does this show know that they have written Kat into an emotionally abusive relationship? That man has run nearly every sign of emotional abuse on Kat and with him getting pissy over Kat moving in with her grandparents that definitely smelled of isolation.

They really didn't see how ridiculous it is to have the opening of the clinic, but no actual set for the clinic?

The shows I enjoy just won't keep this loser away from me.
It would be one thing if they were writing Leslie as this great mastermind that was outsmarting everyone on her way to the top, but nope, she's sloppy as hell. The writers rely on dumbing down and weakening characters to get her wins.
That's where I thought they were going with this when the show first started with Bill having some kind of brain injury/illness. Everything single thing Bill has accused Dani of being in their marriage Little Miss Pushup Bra is that and more on full blast.
So a former waitress, a former hairstylist, a former firefighter, a realtor/pimp, and a mob boss all walk into a dinner... No, this is not the start of a joke. This is who they want us to believe can build a free clinic in like 2 months while working out of Orphey Gene's.

That ketchup line was cringe as hell.

"How does that loud, messy woman keep running circles around us?"
Because this show is determined to make the Duprees a turn the other cheek family, that's how.

The first time was her place.
Kial doesn't have a set that was Nicole's bedroom.
Me walking my dog, but in reality, my dog is walking me.
Future Yankee Paul Skenes, you will know the feeling of playing in a full stadium once you put on pinstripes.
"That was impossible, Bobby Witt made it happen!"
Ooh, that was nasty Witt.
"Uh oh"
Roman Anthony's three run HR makes it 5-0 USA
Aaron Judge follows it with a HR, it's Dos a Cero
AARON MOTHERFUCKING JUDGE
Aaron Judge gets the runner at 3rd with a perfect one hop throw
And we're back to don't run on Judge.
AARON MOTHERFUCKING JUDGE
Oof, this middle infield has been so shaky for USA these first 3 games.
I was enjoying the WBC so much without having to hear Smoltz's voice and now here he is.
He was in a few episodes of the first season. MPG's character was involved in the first case in the premiere episode.
I'm all for Morgan and Karadec on High Potential, but it's irking my spirit that they're doing the disposable black girlfriend trope on the way there. With Lucia and the DA from last season, it's sets a pattern that Karadec has a type he'll likely keep going for until he realizes Morgan is the one.
This show wants Kat to be this thing or that thing so badly, but they always fail to write the material that clearly shows her being all of the things they want her to be. Instead they always rely on other characters reimaging their encounters with Kat.
This show has a frustrating habit of having characters exaggerate or completely make up things involving Kat. When Kat was not happy that Chelsea got engaged? I don't even recall Chelsea telling Kat on-screen about getting engaged, and Kat wanted to help plan the proposal.
