For the demo level blockout, I used an ugly sketch as a template. I did this sketch back in the days when I was working on a prototype of the game inside the Unity engine, using it to lay out my level and get an initial idea of where to place collectables and encounters.

After a stressful period during which I had little energy left for my spare-time project, I was finally able to spend a few hours in the evening recently working on a first iteration of the demo boss and the blockout for the demo level.

Currently my little sandbox level is being flooded with more and more toys to play with for my spare time game project.
